WITNESSING SIGNING OF DOCUMENT

I can witness you signing your document. This means that you must bring the document to me, confirm your identity and then sign in front of me. This will cost you $40.00 per signature per document.

Sometimes, I have to also say that I confirmed your identity with the photograph on your ID document. This can increase the fee as there would be more work done.

But in Singapore, Notarising signatures does not stop here. I still have to issue a Notarial Certificate, get the Certificate Apostilled by the Singapore Academy of Law, and then the Notarisation is complete. Please see below “completing the authentication process”.

Just so you know, a Notarial Certificate is fixed at $75.00 and the Apostille fees are $86.40 (which includes GST).

You cannot just have a Notary witness without a Certificate. It is against the rules and regulations by the Singapore Academy of Law.

Then the total fee can exceed $200.00 or more, call/contact for a quote or cost.

CERTIFYING TRUE COPIES

I just make a copy of the original document and certify that the copy is a true copy.

However, if the original document is also downloaded, I can only certify that the copy is a copy of the downloaded document.

The first page is from $10 to $20 followed by $1 to $2 per page thereafter.

Electronic documents, PDFs and online documents are becoming more common nowadays. I can certify true copy a downloaded document but there are some limitations, please contact me to clarify. Alternative, I can see you log into the online source and show me the original online document, and I can verify the source as well. As this is a bit complex, do call/contact me to clarify.
