With effect from 15 February 2017, it was mandated that all Notaries Publics to issue a Notarial Certificate for documents attested by a Notary Public.
The Notarial Certificate must be secured to the necessary documents with a ribbon that runs through, with the notary public’s signature, stamp, sealed with the official seal issued by Singapore Academy of Law, to ensure that integrity of notarization is upheld. A security feature is also embedded onto the notarial seals issued by the Singapore Academy of Law.
A proof of Notarization is be issued upon submission & approval of attested documents to prove that document is authenticated by the Singapore Academy of Law. An authentication certificate is given to verify the identification & signature of the notary public.
